Yes, Inspiring Journeys have one of the newest coach fleets in Australia & New Zealand. Our fully air-conditioned coaches are equipped with modern features like reclining seats and footrests, panoramic windows, and an on-board restroom. All Inspiring Journeys itineraries include scheduled and regular rest breaks. Our coaches are also equipped with phone chargers and free WiFi to keep you in touch with the outside world.

Inspiring Journeys have designated certain departures as Definite Departures, which means they have reached minimum passenger numbers and will definitely run as scheduled. Global Journeys continue to add Definite Departure status to tours online as they achieve minimum numbers. If you book on a Non-Definite Departure Inspiring Journeys will determine if the tour will operate no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. If the tour is withdrawn we will work to offer you a suitable alternative. If you aren't happy with the options offered any money paid on your booking will be refunded.

Inspiring Journey clients you will receive a travel wallet and luggage tag. Plus, we'll give you a map of Australia or New Zealand to follow your journey as a memento of your holiday.

Travel documents for Inspiring Journeys are delivered to the hotel or address you are staying at prior to your tour depending on the tour type chosen. We also provide you with a tour itinerary and arrival instructions by email, once we have all your flight information and personal details.

With such a diverse range of destinations and touring styles there is no set age or type who travel with Inspiring Journeys, you can expect a wide-range of like-minded travellers. Families with children, young couples, baby boomers, solo travellers, small groups and more can be found on our guided tours. There is certainly no age limit for touring, with children as young as 6 through to seniors travelling, however, the general demographic tends to be over 40. As AAT Kings is sold internationally you will also find that there are people from all over the world on their tours, particularly North Americans, British, Europeans and many Asian nations.

On an Inspiring Journey we’ll introduce you to rich and immersive experiences in an intimate small group setting (maximum 20 guests). You’ll travel in luxury coaches or 4WD vehicles and stay in boutique retreats, lodges and resorts with cuisine to match.

Gold Seal Protection is designed to provide you with peace of mind. For $99 per person, should you choose to cancel your guided holiday for any reason, up to 7 days prior to your departure date, Inspiring Journeys will refund your deposit and/or guided holiday payment. Gold Seal Protection must be paid with the deposit and cannot be added at any later date. If you wish for us to include this protection in your quote (additional benefits alos provided - please read), let us know when enquiring.

Due to limited coach capacity, a single bag is allowed with dimensions not exceeding 30" x 18" x 10" (76 x 46 x 25cm) and weight not exceeding 23kg (50lbs). Carry on hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person, not exceeding 12" x 11" x 6" (30 x 28 x 14cm) to fit under your coach seat or in the small overhead compartment. If you have any concerns with regards to your luggage allowance please contact your Global Journeys travel advisor.

While it's not compulsory in Australia or New Zealand, tipping is becoming an increasingly accepted practice in all areas of the service industry, but particularly in restaurants, bars and taxis. Likewise on your Inspiring Journey, if you feel that your Tour Director, Driver or Driver Guide has done an excellent job, then we would recommend tipping up to the equivalent of $5 per day. However, it's not compulsory. It is up to you!

The beauty oftravellingwith Inspiring Journeys is that you won't betravellingalone. You'll have a group of like-minded travellers and soon to be friends to share in the experience with. They also offer a room matching service so you don't have to pay a single room supplement. The room matching service means Inspiring Journey will work to match you with another solo traveller of the same gender, but if they can't, they will provide a single room at no extra cost.

Yes, they can accommodate children, but are required to be a minimum age of 5 years or older. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.Inspiring Journeys do recommend that peopletravellingwith children consider whether the itinerary is suitable, in particular the activities involved and the duration of the tour to ensure children's comfort.

To allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy seats at the front of the coach, Inspiring Journeys has a seat rotation policy on all their holidays. This means that everyone changes seats daily during the course of the tour, and also means that you have the opportunity to meet new people throughout your journey.

Yes! Owing to strict Government vehicle weight restrictions you are allowed one medium size suitcase per person, with dimensions not to exceed H76cm x W46cm x D25cm. The maximum weight of all luggage must not exceed 23kg (50lbs). We suggest you have wheels on your suitcase, as there are certain places where assistance is not available (e.g. airports, railway stations and cruise terminals).

You are also allowed one piece of hand luggage on-board the coach: please note that luggage with an adjustable handle and wheels will not fit in the overhead compartments and cannot be accepted as hand luggage. Alternative arrangements should be made for forwarding excess baggage to the final destination prior to commencing your holiday.

Yes, Inspiring Journeys pride themselves on offering the perfect mix of sightseeing and free time. While many amazing must-see experiences are included, there is also time to shop, explore, relax in a local café or take a walk.

Ontravellingdays you will stop every 2 to 3 hours either at a rest stop where you will have access to food and facilities or for sightseeing, activities or free time.

On an Inspiring Journeys many meals such as breakfasts and dinners are included. There are some meals Inspiring Journeys intentionally don’t include, like lunches and some dinners, to give you the flexibility to explore in your free time and try all kinds of local cuisine.

Breakfast is included daily and generally comprises of cereals, fruit juices and a selection of cooked dishes such as eggs, bacon and sausages, plus, toast, preserves, tea and coffee. Many dinners are also included and always provide choice with either quality buffet or a la carte menu to choose from. Dinner is accompanied by dessert options and tea and coffee.

Inspiring Journeys also include special Highlight Dinners that are an experience in their own right, like a BBQ dinner under the stars at Uluru or a traditional Maori Hangi feast. Inspiring Journeys 'You're invited' dining experiences give travellers unique meal experiences, with the opportunity to feel the true essence of a destination through its history, its locals and its produce.

Inspiring Journeys include the must-see and must-do experiences on all tours but also offer you the ability to customise your tour with a selection of Optional Experiences. Details of Optional Experiences available will be sent with your final documents.

There is no need to pre-book as Optional Experiences are organised by your Travel Director or Driver Guide whilst on tour. Payment is accepted in local currency or by credit card.

Complimentary arrival and departure transfers are provided between designated airports and Inspiring Journeys' hotels on the scheduled start and end days of your journey, or if have booked pre or post accommodation through Global Journeys and Inspiring Journeys. Airport transfers will be provided only for guests who have advised us of their flight details a minimum of 45 days prior to your tour departure date.
