Global Journeys (Global Journeys Travel Inc) act as an agent for and sells travel related products and services as an agent on behalf of various travel service providers ('Travel Suppliers)'. The services we provide to you pertain to that agency relationship.
Our obligation to you is to (and you authorize us to) facilitate travel bookings on your behalf, arrange relevant contracts between you and the Travel Supplier, arrange travel documentation for the relevant travel bookings, and procuring refunds, travel credits or other forms of compensation where available.
We exercise care in the selection of reputable Travel Suppliers, but we have no control over, or liability for, the products and services provided by third parties and we cannot guarantee the performance of any Travel Supplier. Global Journeys is not responsible for the acts or omissions of such Travel Supplier(s) or their subcontractors or their failure to provide services, adhere to their own schedules, or honor their contracts. All information, prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Bookings made on your behalf by Global Journeys are subject to the relevant Travel Supplier(s) terms and conditions. You must read and accept these prior to finalising your booking. The terms and conditions of each Travel Supplier are provided on each Operator page (see 'Operators' menu at the top of this page) and are also accessible via a link when you inquire with us and in Global Journeys Client Booking Portal.
All prices, unless specified otherwise, are in US dollars. Prices and availability provided on this website are subject to change at any time without notice. Special conditions may apply to the prices on this website.
All deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is required no less than 65 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Some airfares or trips must be paid in full at the time of booking. If final payment dates are missed, the trip will be cancelled and deposits forfeited, and you may be responsible for any Travel Supplier penalties as a result.
Your non-refundable deposit is held by the Travel Supplier to secure your place(s) on the trip. Please note that all airfares and Travel Supplier prices are subject to change without notice if full payment for booking has not been received.
The prices shown on this website are per person, unless specifically indicated. Your trip is not confirmed until you receive a Booking Confirmation from Global Journeys and your deposit (or full payment) has been received by Global Journeys.
All deposits, trip balances and part payments are required to be paid online or by phone using Visa, American Express or MasterCard. Some Travel Suppliers may restrict the credit card options available. Full details are provided in your quote. International clients outside of or the United States are also required to pay by credit card.
Your credit card account will be debited by Global Journeys or passed through to the Travel Supplier directly to be debited, and you will be informed of that transaction by means of a Booking Confirmation sent to you at the time of booking. You agree to comply with booking terms and conditions of Global Journeys and the Travel Supplier, whether or not you have manually signed an invoice or receipt.
If you are booking your own flights, please don't book them until you have been notified by Global Journeys that your places on the tour (or your cruise cabin) have been confirmed. If you are booking a land tour please also wait until we notify you that your departure date has been set to a 'definite/guaranteed departure' by the Travel Supplier(s).
It is your responsibility to confirm your flight departure times at least 24 hours prior to departure. Some airlines will have schedule changes and your flight times may differ to what is stated on your Booking Confirmation. We recommend that you reconfirm your onward and return flights at least 3 days prior to each journey. Global Journeys is not responsible for schedule changes.
All passengers are asked to check in at least 2 hours for domestic and 3 hours for international prior to the scheduled time of departure of their flight due to enhanced security measures. Global Journeys recommend online check-in available with most airlines at least 12 hours prior to departure and for most cruises, at least 72 hours. Please note that all travelers must be present with their boarding documents, passport and visas necessary for the destination. Any passenger arriving late for check-in will be denied boarding.
If you wish for your Global Journeys advisor to arrange your international flights, the following non-refundable booking fees will apply. Please note that booking fees do not apply if the flights are included in the trip or cruise price or if they are arranged by Global Journeys on behalf of the Travel Supplier. Global Journeys do not charge service or booking fees for organizing your land tour or cruise.
Cancellation fees will be imposed by the Travel Supplier when you cancel your booking. For specific charges, please consult the respective Travel Supplier(s) Terms & Conditions on our website. All deposits are non-refundable, in all cases.
Please be aware that flight and travel bookings may also be non-refundable and non-reroutable depending on the type of fares and trip purchased. Any changes or amendments to the trip or passenger(s) details are either not permitted or will incur an amendment fee from the airline, Travel Supplier or Global Journeys.
Amendment fees may be imposed by the Travel Supplier if you need to make changes to your booking. Global Journeys do not charge amendment fees. For specific Travel Supplier charges, please consult the respective Travel Supplier's Terms & Conditions. If a refund is due to you for whatever reason, any credit card fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
Global Journeys charge a $100 cancellation fee per person (capped at $200 per booking), in addition to any cancellation fees charged by the Travel Supplier(s). This cancellation fee applies even if you have purchased a deposit protection plan (or similar) offered by a Travel Supplier.
These change and cancellation fees reflect the reasonable direct and indirect costs in providing booking and advisory services to you, as well as processing and managing the changes to, or cancellation of, your booking. All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the Travel Supplier.
If for any reason, the Travel Supplier(s) is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the Travel Supplier, and not against Global Journeys and in the event that payment has been made to Global Journeys by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to chargeback your payment to Global Journeys. If the credit card is passed through to the Travel Supplier and you seek to chargeback your payment from the Travel Supplier, you agree to be held liable and indemnify Global Journeys against this chargeback from the Travel Supplier, including without limitation any air debit memos charged to Global Journeys.
If Global Journeys incurs any costs, including but not limited to legal fees to recover any payments charged back by your credit card company, you agree that you will be liable for those costs. If your credit card as the form of payment is declined, you guarantee that you will settle any amounts owing to Global Journeys via another payment method immediately. In addition, if your credit card is declined, you understand that no rates or space can be held, and no portion of your travel booking will be confirmed until which time full payment or trip deposit is received.
Check Your Travel Documents
As soon as we send you your travel documents, or you have access to your booking through the Travel Supplier's App or Portal, check through them thoroughly to ensure they are correct with regards to names, dates & times - and for cruises, your cabin category.
Reconfirmation
Schedule changes by Travel Supplier(s) are possible. We urge you to re-check exact flight times prior to departure and prior to your return.
Cancelling
When you book a trip or cruise, the amount of the deposit, the refund allowed, and the cancellation terms vary according to the Travel Supplier. See 'Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds' above for more details.
Final Payment
For all trips, full payment is required before the Travel Supplier(s) will release your finalized travel documents.
Global Journeys strongly recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance. For some Travel Suppliers it is mandatory to have travel insurance organized before travel documents are issued. You will be notified by Global Journeys as to whether Travel Insurance is mandatory to participate on the trip.
You acknowledge that any insurance solutions offered or recommended by Global Journeys are made in good faith and that you are fully responsible for your decisions in regard to purchasing travel insurance and the coverage taken.
Please ensure you carefully read your Booking Confirmation and all other documents we send to you as soon as you receive them, and contact Global Journeys immediately if any information appears to be incorrect. We will not accept any liability if you fail to notify us of any inaccuracy in any document within 14 days of us sending them to you.
While we will do our best to rectify any changes made outside this time, it is your responsibility to meet any additional costs which may be involved, except in the case of an error made by the Travel Supplier(s) and where there is reasonable justification for you not contacting us within the specified time.
You are responsible for ensuring that all necessary travel documents including, but not limited to, passports, visas and vaccination certificates are valid and subsisting. We strongly recommend that you verify current documentation requirements and all other relevant protocols and procedures associated with your trip with your Travel Advisor. Please note requirements change and you must check with your Consulate for the most up to date information.
It is your responsibility to have a valid passport (for at least 6 months beyond your intended travel time), visa and/or other travel documentation. A passport is the only reliable and universally accepted travel and identification document. Using other documentation such as travel documents or refugee status cards may result in delays or being denied boarding. We will assume that all travelers on the booking have valid or US passports, if this is not the case, you are required to let us know. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
Cruise passengers must present a valid passport, regardless of the entry requirements for their country of embarkation. To re-enter Canada; non-Canadian passport holders will need to provide proof of valid Canadian Permanent Residency, a valid Canadian visa or proof of outbound ticket within visa exception allowance. Citizens from countries other than the United States (U.S.) who do not need a visa to enter Canada will need to obtain an ETA before flying into Canada. Travellers do not need an ETA when entering Canada by land or sea.
Immigration authorities have the sole discretion to deny entry even when the relevant documentation is provided. A traveler with criminal history may be denied entry.

It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements, health advisories, or health travel restrictions applicable to your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. For some countries, international health certificates and vaccinations are required. In some cases, failure to present required vaccination documentation (e.g. Yellow Fever vaccination) may result in you being denied entry into a country. We recommend that you consult with your local doctor, travel medical service or specialist vaccination clinic before commencing your travel.
When you inquire with us, we ask if you have any pre-existing conditions which may impact your ability to travel, or participate on the trip. If you answer yes, then a "Health a Mobility" questionnaire will be sent to you by your Travel Advisor. It is your responsibility to complete this and to forward onto the Travel Supplier(s). Please refer specifically to your Travel Supplier's Terms & Conditions pertaining to 'travelers Who Require Special Assistance'"'

This Agreement is governed by and is to be construed and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of the Province of Ontario and the Laws of Canada applicable in that Province. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Toronto, Ontario to resolve any disputes which may arise in relation to this Agreement and/or sale in general by Global Journeys to the client.
