P&O's Pacific Explorer has made it's highly anticipated return to Sydney after 2 years away, marking the long awaited restart of cruising in the region.

Pacific Explorer became the first cruise ship to return to Australia in more than two years, passing through Sydney Heads at about 9.30am before gliding into Circular Quay mid-morning with an escort of official vessels and Sydney ‘boaties’.

Pacific Explorer's first cruise set sail on 31 May 2022 from Sydney on a 4 night roundtrip to Brisbane, making it also the first ship to dock at the brand new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal. An exciting and significant time for Australian cruise fans who have been patiently waiting to get back on board. P&O's Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter will be following later in the year.
