Welcome to Canada. Once you've landed in Calgary, you'll be met and taken to your hotel in Banff. Make yourself at home before meeting your fellow guests at a welcome dinner. Stay Two Nights: Banff National Park, Fairmont Banff Springs, in a Mountain View Room (D)

Choose how you'd like to spend today in Banff and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. (B)

  • You might like to take part in the Banff Experience, which includes a visit to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Alternatively, board the Banff Gondola and ascend Sulphur Mountain, or set off on a heli-sightseeing excursion. Perhaps enjoy a float trip along Bow River or learn how to be a Canadian ice hockey player. Otherwise, you might like to spend some time at the Willow Stream Spa.

Tour Banff then set off to visit the spectacular Moraine Lake. Later, arrive at iconic Lake Louise. Stay: Banff National Park, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (B/D)

Tonight, dine at the lodge and enjoy a performance from First Nations' Warrior Women with songs and drumming. Later, board your ship and set off for your journey along Alaska's iconic coastline. Stay Seven Nights: Holland America Line's Koningsdam in a Verandah Stateroom (B/D)

Spend today on board, gliding past rocky headlands and over the icy waters of the Inside Passage, one of the most picturesque sea lanes in the world. (B/L/D)

Alaska's capital, Juneau, is set at the foot of the mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, and outdoor activities are plentiful.

Disembark and explore at leisure or with an optional excursion (own expense). (B/L/D)

Arrive in Skagway, the Inside Passage's northernmost point. See heritage buildings, now protected as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, and maybe set off on an excursion (own expense). (B/L/D)

Wake among the breathtaking scenery of Glacier Bay National Park. Take in the calving tidewater glaciers and learn from local rangers about the area's geological wonders. (B/L/D)
