Stop in at Niagara-on-the-Lake, and then head for Niagara Falls. Maybe set off on a helicopter flight (own expense) before cruising to the base of the falls. Stay: Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview, in a Fallsview Room (B/D)

Signature Experiences:
  • At dinner, overlook Niagara Falls before an exclusive visit to the Illumination Tower where you can project your very own light display on the falls.

Today, travel along the Thousand Islands Parkway, stopping to cruise through the beautiful Thousand Islands. By the late afternoon you'll arrive in Ottawa, where dinner has been arranged this evening. Stay Two Nights: Ottawa, Fairmont Chateau Laurie (B/D)

Start your day with a guided tour, pausing at Parliament Hill among other sites. Afterwards, choose what you want to do. (B)

  • Maybe a flight in a vintage open-cockpit biplane is your style? Or would you prefer to visit the Canadian War Museum? Maybe you'll spend time at the Canadian Museum of History, or set off on a guided bicycle exploration.

Today you're on high alert for exciting sightings of deer, wolves and black bears at Parc Omega, a vast safari park home to a broad variety of unique Canadian wildlife.

Later, continue to the enthralling French-Canadian hub of Quebec City. Stay Two Nights: Quebec City, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, in a Deluxe ‘Old Quebec' View Room (B)

Set off on a guided tour of Quebec City this morning and enjoy a choice of sightseeing options. This afternoon, head for Ile d'Orleans. Nicknamed the ‘Garden of Quebec', this sleepy island is a food lover's paradise, and you'll enjoy a delectable Signature Experience here. (B/D)

Set off from Quebec City for the charming and historic city of Montreal, where a fascinating guided tour takes you to Old Montreal and Mount Royal. Stay Two Nights: Montreal, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth (B)

After breakfast, fly to Calgary (flight not included). Once you've landed in Calgary, you'll be met and taken to your hotel in Banff. Alternatively, board the Banff Gondola and ascend Sulphur Mountain, or set off on a heli-sightseeing excursion. Perhaps enjoy a float trip along Bow River or learn how to be a Canadian ice hockey player. Otherwise, you might like to spend some time at the Willow Stream Spa.

Travel along the Icefields Parkway, and stop at the Columbia Icefield. Here, you'll board an Ice Explorer vehicle and journey onto Athabasca Glacier before being taken to Jasper via Athabasca Falls. Tonight, dine at the lodge and enjoy a performance from First Nations' Warrior Women with songs and drumming.
