Wonderful holiday, amazing guide 1 , Australia, Aug 2019
Wow! What a wonderful holiday CIE Tours gave me. Great hotels, great food and our driver and Tour Guide Ken was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Ken. He made sure everyone was happy. He was full of knowledge and answered all our questions often with humour. We visited some amazing destinations and I met a lot of interesting people. I would ...read more recommend CIE Tours to any person wanting to experience Scotland and Ireland. Thank you CIE and our Tour guide and driver Ken O'Connell.
An amazing experience 1 , Australia, Mar 2018
This was our first bus tour and we didn't know what to expect. From the reviews we read of CIE and other tour companies, our research led us to choose CIE Tours. Our tour completed, we can say with enthusiasm, it was an amazing experience. Everything they say about themselves we found to be true. We were very well taken care of. Their planning, punctuality, ...read more follow through, were 1st class. Our tour guide, Patrick, was informative, entertaining, knowledgeable: simply a great travel guide and companion in one. The coach was very comfortable despite traveling on the ôother sideö of the road the whole time. The accommodations were first rate in every way, the food delicious, and the service unsurpassed. If it isn't obvious at this point, we are exceptionally well pleased with CIE. We will tour with CIE again, and again. Thank you CIE!
CIE is the best 1 , Australia, Aug 2017
I enjoyed the tour so much last year. We did the full Scotland / Ireland tour last August and were fortunate enough to have Dick McBride as driver and Patrick OÆRiodan as Tour Guide. Two more finer gentlemen we could not find. So kind and helpful to two bumbling Australian women who didnÆt know their way around. They were so imformative and helpful ...read more to us. Refreshing to have everything included in the price 2 , Australia, Jun 2017
Fifteen days packed with sights from Edinburgh to Dublin. Mal and Dick were knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining-making what could be boring history funny. My only criticism was I wish there was more time in places like Galway and Dingle. It was refreshing to have everything included in the price without surprises.
