Sicily and Malta 5 , VIC, Australia, Sep 2017
What a blast! I have visited places with history dating back 1000 and 1000s of years. The scenery was stunning and varied. Our group mixed socially, swapped email addresses and had many fun times together. In Sicily Franchesca B was a patient and well informed tour guide, arranging and informing the group constantly. Not so for our guides in Malta ...read more unfortunately; however, the accommodation in Malta at Le Meridien was fabulous. So many highlights and great memories!

Now I await my luggage ....6 days overdue from Rome. Rome and Abu Dhabi airports are chaos and I would avoid them if I could. On my way over I missed connecting flights due to Alitalia's lack of organisation, and my luggage again came on a flight different than the one I was on. Yvonne is a travel agent I would happily endorse as she has helped the planning come together and was very obliging. I would also recommend Insight Tours to family and friends.
Exceeded our expectations 1 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2015
Than you so much...we had a wonderful time. Exceeded our expectations. We have always wanted to go to Sicily. What a brilliant Island it is. Steeped in Ancient history! Francis was exceptional as a guide.
A bit disappointed with the Malta extension 3 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2015
Felt a bit disappointed with the Malta extension as it was a bit like an afterthought from Insight. Thank you Yvonne from Global Journeys for your good service.
Excellent trip to Sicily and Malta   1 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2015
Very happy with Global Journeys' bookings and also Insight Vacations. Loved Sicily, Mt Etna was amazing, godfather country also great, loved the accommodation in Malta.
Tour was excellent in all respects 2 , Australia, Jun 2014
The tour was excellent in all respects, except one: a passenger who seemed to enjoy coughing endlessly with no regard for fellow passengers on the coach or people dining nearby. The tour director did her very best to deal with him without success. He didn't ruin the tour for us nor probably for anybody else but it became a challenge for all of us to ...read more avoid sitting near him. On the plus side the tour was especially interesting for us. We'd seen only the corner of Sicily where it started (near Mt Etna) when we'd visited my wife's relatives 45 years ago. It was especially important for her to see much of the rest of Sicily and speak the Sicilian dialect she'd continued to use after coming to Australia at the age of six. She attracted some interest from some of the local guides who constantly talked about the American invasion of Sicily in July 1945, the month she was born to apprehensive parents on the island of Lipari.
