Wonderful, scenic experience 5 , WA, Australia, Jun 2018
Fantastic trip. We saw amazing scenery in both Alaska and Canada, walked on a glacier and through a canyon, spotted bears and whales in their natural environment, visited unexpected places and had an overall wonderful experience. Whole trip was extremely well organised and everything worked out as it should, including the great weather we were lucky ...read more enough get.
Holiday of a lifetime   12 , QLD, Australia, May 2017
My husband and I booked our Canada and Alaska tour through Global Journeys and it was absolutely the best holiday we've ever had. We started with the Alaskan cruise then toured the Rockies with Trafalgar. Everything was so well planned and exactly what we'd been hoping for from this long dreamed of trip.

The accommodation everywhere was excellent, ...read more the food was incredible, the sites visited are bucket list worthy and we've made heaps of news friends. We took up a lot of the extra options available on both the cruise and Trafalgar tour and they were all worth every cent. Even without the optional extras though the trip would have been brilliant. I doubt we would have seen or experienced half as much if we weren't on the tour.

I would recommend one change for most though which is tour first then cruise. The land tour is fairly fast paced with early starts.
Scenery, accommodation and service were excellent 6 , SA, Australia, Aug 2015
The GoldLeaf experience on the Rocky Mountaineer was excellent. The cruise to Alaska on the Vollemdam was fantastic. Scenery, accommodation and service on the tour were excellent.
A excellent tour company both for content and value 5 , Australia, Jul 2014
We had an amazing time. Every thing was very well organised. Tour guide was excellent. Driver did an amazing job too. Their experience working together really showed as they made an excellent team. Fellow travellers were a great group of friendly people. We all got along really well. We were very lucky with the weather too. I would and we have ...read more already recommended Trafalgar to people as a really excellent tour company both for content and value.
The overall trip was excellent 5 , Australia, Jul 2014
The overall trip was excellent. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide Jess was lovely, she had everything running very smoothly. People turned up on time to get on the coach with no late comers which was good. The food and accommodation was excellent.
Thank you for the wonderful holiday 3 , Australia, May 2014
We have been back a week from our Trafalgar holiday and we simply say thank you for the wonderful holiday it was. Everything worked, the hotels were very good (great beds), great travelling partners, good food, excellent coach driver and travel director (husband and wife). The scenery in Canada was wonderful even if Lake Louise was still frozen. Snow ...read more was still thick on the ground in some places. We saw an avalanche at Lake Louise, apart from a couple of black bears. There is no doubt that the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island has to be seen to be believed. The Inside Passage cruise is well worth the time and cost. We enjoyed all the ship life and probably had one of the best steaks I've tasted in awhile. I have a medal for my Ziplining at Ketchikan. A bit scary but worth every minute. We took a flight over 5 major glaciers from Juneau, a bit expensive but worth it. At Skagway we took the 8 hour tour up White Pass: coach up and the train down. It was excellent, the train is an engineering marvel appreciated only by travelling on it. The US border people removed 3 people from the coach who only had ID passes - passports only were the order of the day. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
