Journey north to see a mighty Kauri tree and marvel at its size. From here continue to the Bay of Islands where you'll settle into your hotel and celebrate with a special Welcome Dinner this evening. The Bay of Islands is home to 144 islands providing a stunning aquatic playground off the north coast of the North Island. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the idyllic subtropical Bay of Islands. Perhaps relax on a beach, explore the stunning wilderness areas via one of the many walking tracks, or set off into town and dine at a local restaurant. (B)
