Be met on arrival in Auckland and be transferred to your hotel. Stay: Sudima Hotel Auckland
Journey north to see a mighty Kauri tree and marvel at its size. From here continue to the Bay of Islands where you'll settle into your hotel and celebrate with a special Welcome Dinner this evening. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers. Stay Two Nights: Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands (B/D)
The Bay of Islands is home to 144 islands providing a stunning aquatic playground off the north coast of the North Island. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the idyllic subtropical Bay of Islands. Perhaps relax on a beach, explore the stunning wilderness areas via one of the many walking tracks, or set off into town and dine at a local restaurant. (B)
This captivating coastline provides sheltered waters for dolphins, whales, seals, penguins and other marine life. Continue to the Hole in the Rock, a distinctive sandstone arch formation. Return to Auckland by coach and relax prior to dinner. Stay: Sudima Hotel Auckland (B/D)
