One of the oldest cities in Norway, Trondheim is an atmospheric metropolis that is a delight to explore. Later, arrive in Geiranger, a small tourist village in the Sunnmore region of Norway. Stay Two Nights: Geiranger, Union Hotel Geiranger (B/D)

Geirangerfjord is a World Heritage-listed site alive with colours and contrasts. Great Scenery and Culture But the Trains?   3 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2023
To tour the two countries (Sweden & Norway), was great because you could see the similarities and appreciate the differences. It was not too onerous a pace and we had time to look at museums/churches and other points of interest in our free time.
The itinerary was good. We had a variety of experiences. It was good to get to the north of both countries. ...read more We appreciated the culture in Sweden and the landscapes in Norway. The breakfasts at the hotels were amazing and the comfort was good.

Our tour leader was amazingly affable and made sure that we were as comfortable as possible and that we were enjoying the tour.
We were a little disappointed in the trains - they are not tourist trains which meant you did not always have a good window to see the country-side. Whilst this was not as important in Sweden as it was in Norway. In the end, we felt a tour by coach would have been as good.
