Amazing trip from start to finish!
2 Anjana, VIC, Australia, Oct 2019 This was my second time booking with Global Journeys and I have to thank Jemma for her patience with my ongoing emails and queries. Everything was booked in time and smoothly. This was my second trip with Insight Vacations and it was yet again another wonderful trip to Eastern Europe. Thank you all.
Good trip but not value for money 2 Sharon, NSW, Australia, Aug 2019
The booking process through Global Journey's was faultless. Our Insight tour director, Karin and our driver Peter were exceptional. The coach was great, spacious and kept immaculately clean. The hotels were good except for Berlin which was very ordinary and in Prague the hotel was way out of town. The problem with Insight was that very little is included,

Similar in Warsaw, Krakow and Vienna. Some options included dinner, so OK, but not highlights of the city you are staying in for 1 day. We realised the extent of the optional experiences after we booked so never again. Eastern Europe overview 6 Don & Bernadette, VIC, Australia, Sep 2017
The Eastern European trip was excellent. We saw so many places from the old Eastern Bloc. We were on the go for most of the time, so 14 days was sufficient as we were tiring by that time. The added excursions were mostly good, but we were getting over folk dancing in the end.
Eastern Europe in style 3 Peter, ACT, Australia, Aug 2017
Insight provided an excellent tour with very good hotels and coach with highly skilled driver. Of course would like to have more time in each place but we covered a lot of ground ( and history ) in a relatively short time. A negative was the unnecessarily hard sell on the "optional experiences". Also while I can understand rational for offering the

We had a very enjoyable trip which exceeded all expectations. The Insight tour of Eastern Europe was well organised, the accommodation and meals excellent and most importantly our tour guide Greg was an excellent host, and was full of knowledge regarding WW2 and the fall on communism. Was on the go most of the time. Would recommend this tour to see

I would recommend 2 Julie Zappa, WA, Australia, Aug 2015

Recommend to anyone interested in WWII history 1 Mark & Mary, NSW, Australia, Jul 2015
We had a very enjoyable trip which exceeded all expectations. The Insight tour of Eastern Europe was well organised, the accommodation and meals excellent and most importantly our tour guide Neira gave each and every person in the group her individual attention and advice. She always went the extra mile and her local knowledge, attention to detail

Most people on the tour where seasoned travellers. No hesitation recommending this tour to others 1 Kerrie Davis, Australia, Aug 2014
Overall I really enjoyed my trip our tour quide was fantastic and made sure everyone's need were catered for. The cities and places we visited were excellent and the local guides were informative and generally easy to understand. I would have no hesitation recommending this tour to others.
This tour was excellent with an emphasis on the larger Cities 2 Joy Edmistone, Australia, May 2013
The tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the areas but tended to ramble on a bit much at times. The local guides were excellent. Krakow was very interesting with a big emphasis on the history of the Kings. The highlight for me was the Salt Mines - absolutely amazing! Auschwitz - what can one say. Warsaw was surprising with the amount

The visit to Checkpoint Charlie was spoilt by the huge crowds in the museum and one could only shuffle and see very little. Prague was beautiful and more time could easily be spent there. The only major glitch was having to trundle our own luggage down the cobblestone road to Cesky Krumlov- real revolt on the return trip when passengers all refused to trundle uphill and transport was arranged. Vienna was beautiful but not enough time. The morning visit to the Brewery could easily be removed. Very impressed with attention to detail 2 Maxine Laurie, Australia, Aug 2012
I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the amount of places we were able to visit. Also in regard to the detail that Heinz our guide provided us with as we drove between cities. He was a wonderful guide, helpful and very professional at all times. I really couldn't fault the tour but would have like an extra day of activity in Vienna

I also found my way to Schindler's Factory in Krackov and that was fascinating. That would make a good addition to the tour. Results 1-11 of 11
