France is a hub of a flavour-rich produce and local culinary experts that know exactly what to do with it. Scenic has created a bespoke cooking area aboard its upgraded Space-Ships, the Scenic Sapphire and Scenic Diamond to bring you the best of both in an interactive environment.
The Scenic Culinaire program allows guests to participate in a series of onboard cooking classes, each limited to 10 participants for an intimate and memorable experience. This takes place in a newly-designed space that features cooking stations as well as a cheese and wine cellar.
The experience showcases the best and freshest produce of the region, and guests can even choose to ‘Shop with the Chef’ and head to the local market to source ingredients. Once these are crafted into exquisite dishes under expert guidance, participants are able to indulge in their creations.
Sessions are hosted by a mix of the onboard culinary team and local culinary experts and each is tailored to reflect the cuisine of the region travelled. Guests can enjoy these unique classes on itineraries in southern France and in Bordeaux. Bon Appetit!
