Port:Southampton

If you plan on travelling to Southampton by train, the closest station to the cruise terminals is Southampton Central. The journey takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes from London Waterloo. All four terminals are a short distance from the train station. Complimentary coach transfers, to and from Southampton are available on roundtrip cruises of seven nights or more, sailing from Southampton (with the exception of World Voyages), and apply to all guests on the booking.

Whichever ship you decide on you can choose from a refreshing variety of pools and whirlpools - each heated to just the right temperature. Queen Victoria offers two spacious outdoor pools as well as a hydrotherapy pool in her spa.

Ships docking in Funchal, Madeira, use the Port of Funchal, located about 3 km (1.9 miles) from the city center. This short distance can be covered in around 10 minutes by taxi or shuttle bus. The port is conveniently situated, allowing easy access to Funchal's charming streets, vibrant markets, and stunning botanical gardens. To explore Funchal, taxis and local buses are readily available. A popular spot is the Monte Palace Tropical Garden, reachable by cable car offering panoramic views. To reach London from Southampton, you can take a train from Southampton Central (the station is within a short taxi ride from the cruise terminals) to London Waterloo, with the journey taking around 1.5 hours - that's approximately 128 km's (80 miles). Alternatively if you're travelling by coach or have arranged a private transfer, please allow around 2 hours for the journey.
