Malaga, a sun-kissed city on the Costa del Sol and the birthplace of famous painter Pablo Picasso, marks the start of your Mediterranean musical odyssey. Andalusia soon makes way for Murcia. You will arrive in Cartagena, a former Roman colony where there is still a majestic amphitheatre. As you roam the city, you will discover the many monuments reflecting its numerous influences and rich history.

After a call at Valencia, with its remarkable architectural splendours, you will sail to Palma de Mallorca, one of the jewels of the Balearic Archipelago, known for its four main islands that are charming, picturesque and discreet, sitting atop the clear waters of the Mediterranean like grains of sand. You will continue your visit to the Balearic Islands with the discovery of the well-preserved Menorca. Mahon, the island’s capital, will charm you with its age-old history and its exceptional port, which, at 6 kilometres (3.7 miles) long, is the biggest in the Mediterranean!

You will head for Sicily and Trapani. 750 metres (2,460 feet) up, perched on a high triangular plateau sloping down to the sea, this medieval city is a labyrinth of polished, paved narrow streets and alleyways with superb views over the Aegadian Islands and the valley. Your cruise will come to an end in Valletta, capital of the island of Malta and former stronghold of the Knights of the Order of Malta.

Málaga is the lively capital of the Costa del Sol, famed for its beaches and mild climate. It is a city of narrow streets, whitewashed houses, churches and sunny plazas. Málaga also serves as a popular starting point for excursions to splendid Granada and the famed Alhambra. Ships will dock at the Málaga cruise terminal.

Stroll through the charming old town with its narrow streets, lively squares, and bustling markets. Don’t miss the bustling Mercat de l'Olivar for a taste of local produce and delicacies. For a relaxing break, head to the picturesque Paseo Marítimo, where you can enjoy scenic waterfront views and numerous cafes. Palma offers a delightful mix of historical sights, culinary delights, and seaside relaxation.

Start your day at Cala Mitjana, a secluded beach with crystal-clear waters, ideal for a morning swim or relaxation. For history enthusiasts, the Naveta d'Es Tudons, a prehistoric burial site, offers a glimpse into the island's ancient past. Explore the charming town of Ciutadella, with its narrow streets, historic buildings, and lively markets. Enjoy local delicacies such as Mahón cheese and fresh seafood at a seaside restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Monte Toro, the highest point on the island, providing panoramic views and a serene setting for reflection.

Port:Porto Mahon

Cruise ships dock at the Port of Mahón, located about 2 km (1.2 miles) from the city center, a quick 5-minute drive. The port area offers a charming waterfront with restaurants, shops, and historical buildings. Once in Mahón, explore the old town's narrow streets, the impressive Santa Maria Church, and the bustling Fish Market. A visit to the Museo de Menorca provides insights into the island's history. For a scenic view, take a walk along the port's promenade or enjoy a boat tour around Mahón's natural harbor.

During your journey at sea, make the most of the many services and activities on board. Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the spa or stay in shape in the fitness centre. Depending on the season, let yourself be tempted by the swimming pool or a spot of sunbathing.

This journey without a port of call will also be an opportunity to enjoy the conferences or shows proposed on board, depending on the activities offered, or to do some shopping in the boutique or to meet the PONANT photographers in their dedicated space. As for lovers of the open sea, they will be able to visit the ship’s upper deck to admire the spectacle of the waves and perhaps be lucky enough to observe marine species. Perched on a low-lying, palazzi-dotted promontory on Sicily's west coast, Trapani reveals a hint of its medieval past in its historic core's maze of narrow streets. Surrounded by glowing turquoise waters and rugged coastline, it is the gateway to western Sicily's ruins. Ships will dock at Porto di Trapani.

Loved everything about our Ponant cruise. Excursions were well organised and having a Ponant crew member as support was a big plus. Restaurant staff were charming and service was impeccable.
