Cruise Itinerary

Departs: 20:00

Seward, Alaska, serves as a gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park, where stunning glaciers and diverse marine life await exploration. Visitors can embark on scenic boat tours to witness calving glaciers and spot playful sea otters, seals, and even humpback whales.

Arrives: 14:00 Departs: 17:00

Off the coast of Yakutat - 200 miles North West of Juneau - Hubbard is certainly gigantic: it's more than 9km/6mi wide where it meets the ocean. The face is over 100m/350ft tall, and icebergs 3 to 4 stories in height aren’t uncommon.

Granted, most of that ice is below water, but the ice can be so thick that cruise ships can’t get too close. In the right conditions, however, your ship might be able to get within 1km/0.5mi of the face. The strong currents and riptides that flow between Gilbert Point and the face of the glacier cause calving to occur on a daily basis, sending massive chunks of ice crashing into Disenchantment Bay.

But don't be fooled, Hubbard Glacier stands strong and is advancing so fast its earned the title "The Galloping Glacier".

Arrives: 09:00 Departs: 22:00

Juno, commonly known as Juneau, is the capital city of Alaska. Only accessible by sea or air, Juneau's history, culture, and topography have resulted in many interesting activities for visitors to enjoy, all in the heart of Alaska's majestic mountains, rivers, glaciers, and forests.

Top Things to Do in and around Juneau:

  • dog sledding
  • explore the gorgeous Mendenhall Glacier
  • whale watching
  • Alaskan Halibut fishing

Arrives: 07:00 Departs: 20:00-21:00*

Skagway was Alaska's largest town with a population of about 20,000 during the gold rush in 1898. Hotels, saloons, dance halls and gambling houses prospered. But when the gold dwindled, so did the population.

Today, Skagway has less than 1,000 residents and it still retains the flavor of the gold rush era.

Top Things to Do in and around Skagway:

  • steam train from Skagway aboard the "Scenic Railway of the World"
  • excursion to the Klondike Summit
  • gold panning & dog sledding

Arrives: 07:00 Departs: 17:00-18:00*

Venture 'where the north wind doesn’t blow' and discover Icy Strait Point. This uniquely Alaskan port is one of the few places in the world where wildlife outnumbers the human population. Pine trees as tall as skyscrapers, humpback whales, eagles, wild salmon, black bears and more form the harmonious tapestry of life in this Alaskan hinterland. Ships will dock at this port.

Top Things to Do in Icy Strait Point:

  • brave the world’s longest zipline, ZipRider
  • go whale watching
  • visit the Alaskan native village, Hoonah
  • hike, bike or kayak through the wilderness

Whether you live to eat or eat to live, you'll love the live-action eat-ertainment of Umai Teppanyaki. Offering a fusion of teppan cuisine and showmanship, this all-new venue is the perfect place for a lunch or dinner to remember.

Arrives: 18:00-23:00*

Vancouver, Canada, is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountains, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Explore Stanley Park, home to lush gardens and scenic seawalls, or take a stroll through the vibrant Granville Island Public Market, where you can find local artisans and fresh produce. Notably, Vancouver is also known for its diverse culinary scene, offering everything from fresh seafood to international cuisine, reflecting its multicultural heritage.

Vancouver is the ideal home port to begin or end an Alaskan adventure. Blessed with stunning vistas and exciting activities, Vancouver offers the perfect blend of urban and natural experiences. Vancouver is a must for any cruise itinerary, and because it's a compact, walkable city right on the edge of nature, adding on just a couple of extra days to explore will give you an authentic taste of what makes this place so attractive to visitors.

Located in the heart of Vancouver’s waterfront, 'Canada Place' (cruise terminal) can service up to three luxury cruise ships at any given time.

Note: Ship ports may not be located in the starting & ending cities listed. Port and transfer details will be provided in your travel documentation. The provided itinerary is for informational purposes only. Activities and sightseeing attractions listed may not be available or achievable within the time in port. * Arrival and/or departure times vary depending on cruise departure date, so we have provided an indicitive range.

The Break Away 0 , NSW, Australia, Nov 2024
It was a great short break - everything was perfect from the booking in and cabin staff to the neverending quality food and wait service. I could not fault any of the staff involved that made our lives easy and restful. Disembarking was a breeze following the instructions and procedures. Will book again definitely.
Great cruise 3 , Australia, Jan 2024
This was a great cruise from start to finish. The booking process was easy. The port stops were great. The ship had a lot to do on board. The food was pretty good. Just the coffee on board could have been better.
First time cruise exceed expectations 3 , New Zealand, Jul 2023
This was my first cruise and it exceed my expectations. The facilities were top tier! I really enjoyed coming back to my stateroom which was great even without a balcony after a long day to relax. Royal Caribbean really know how to wow their consumers! Although I really enjoyed the cruise I most likely won’t go on a cruise peak season again as it felt ...read more really overwhelming with so many people and the weather was really hot. In saying this, I would definitely go on another cruise and would definitely book through Global Journeys. Tracey made my experience very easy and answered all my questions timely. The whole process was great!
Beautiful New Zealand Cruise   4 , NSW, Australia, Apr 2023
Lovely cruise on Ovation of the Seas. The ship was very impressive. Especially suited for families with teenage children and young adults with lots of activities on board. Perhaps not so much for the older age group. New Zealand has some stunning scenery although I was on the last cruise for the season and we missed two ports because of inclement weather. ...read more Thanks to Georgie from Global Journeys for always handling my bookings so efficiently, everything went very smoothly.
Thanks 7 , VIC, Australia, Mar 2023
We had a great time on our Royal Caribbean holiday. We booked it all through Georgie who was very helpful and would highly recommend her.
Weekend getaway from Sydney 4 , NSW, Australia, Jan 2023
With Christmas such a busy and hectic time, we took the opportunity to book a weekend getaway cruise on Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas. Only being a 2 night cruise, we splurged out on a 1 bedroom Grand Suite, and it didn’t disappoint. Essentially a double size cabin, bedroom in one side and lounge in the other with access to a fully tiled bathroom ...read more from each room. Other perks of the Grand Suite was access to the Coastal Kitchen restaurant. Whilst the quality and quantity of the food on Royal Caribbean in general is better than other lines we have cruised with, the Coastal Kitchen really is that extra step up. Top quality food, impeccable service and a more intimate environment for dinner was a good way to cap off the day.

Suite class also has 24 hr access to the Concierge Club lounge, with complimentary coffee all day, afternoon hors d'oeuvres and open bar from 5pm - 8pm. Add to that a private sundeck and you have several options to get away from the 4,500 plus passengers on board. (if that’s what you want). Suites are not cheap, and up to the individual to determine if it is worth it for them, but we enjoyed our short stay at that level. We have also found that Royal Caribbean’s boarding process, in Sydney at least, is second to none. With so much being able to be done online prior to boarding, you virtually just walk on, via security of course and ID checks. We’ll cruise with Royal Caribbean and book via Global Journeys again.
