Britain, Ireland and Scotland 2 , WA, Australia, Jul 2019
Really enjoyed our trip. Our tour director was full of useful information and had a good sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble. Highlights were Ireland, Stratford on Avon and the Edinburgh Tattoo. As an elderly traveller I would have appreciated more information about our first night in London as the hotel used by Trafalgar was too expensiv ...read moree.

Following our journey in Europe we joined Trafalgar for a remarkable trip across Britain and Ireland catching up with some of my family and other friends as the trip progressed from Stonehenge up to Scotland across to Ireland and back to England.
Wonders of Britain & Ireland   2 , QLD, Australia, Jun 2018
This tour needed to be at least an extra day for the total distance travelled. It was too fast paced and too many hours on the coach each day with not enough time to explore each location especially the one night stops. Loved all the places we visited and the history in each town and city. Disappointments were the Blarney Stone, there is not one it ...read more wore off years ago - a rip off. The Edinburgh Scottish Dinner it was terrible 10 years ago and is worse now, Trafalgar should not include these. Our tour guide Glen was very good.
Enjoyed everything about this tour 2 , QLD, Australia, May 2015
I loved this tour. It was at a leisurely pace, which I enjoyed, as I had just completed The Grand European 21 day tour which was a very fast paced tour. I enjoyed everything about this tour from the hotels, the places we visited, the scenery which was amazing, the people we met and the great weather. I loved The Ring of Kerry, Edinburgh, Oxford, York and absolutely everything. No complaints at all. A big thank you also to Georgie who organised my 6 week holiday, without a hitch. Hassle free touring and organised activities 1 , Australia, Sep 2014
Trafalgar tour director and coach driver were very professional and well versed in their trade ensuring that our tour ran like clockwork. Destinations visited were all thoroughly enjoyed and as always there were some we wished we had more time in e.g Oxford, Liverpool and Dublin. Thanks again Michelle.
The Edinbrugh Tatoo was certainly a highlight of the trip 2 , Australia, Aug 2013
Firstly, Frances was a delight to book with, she always responded to my emails and phone calls quickly and efficiently. What was covered in the tour was very good. The travel director Paul, was exceptional with a great deal of knowledge and insight into all the areas visited. Our bus driver Kevin, showed amazing dexterity and some fabulous reverse driving ...read more as a result of road works in a very narrow street in Edinbrugh. Unfortunately most of the hotels were below average, some were very dated and dusty. The dinner on the first night was a horrible introdution to the British cusine. Of our dining experiences, I would say only two dinners were thoroughly enjoyable, the one in Liverpool and the one as part of the river cruise in Ireland. The shows were fun however, the accompaning dinners rushed and bland. Smaller shows with better food would have been appreciated. We were very fortunate that the group as a whole, was very positive and upbeat and were able to laugh off some of the poor meals we had. Better choices of retaurants would have made the tour far more enjoyable. The Edinbrugh Tatoo was certainly a highlight of the trip.
