How many ships are there in the Viking Ocean Fleet?

Viking’s brand new fleet consists of Viking Star (2015), Viking Sea (2016), Viking Sky (2017), Viking Sun (2017) and Viking Orion (2018). By 2020 Viking will have six newly built sister ships.

What is the crew to passenger ratio?

The ratio of crew to passenger on Viking is 1_7 for the ocean fleet. All crew are employed by Viking and are Swiss-trained. There are no contract crew.

Is there Wi-Fi on Board?

Yes, there is free and unlimited Wi-Fi on board all Viking ocean ships. Viking also has several laptops onboard for your use if you don’t want to carry your own device.

What is Viking’s Ocean Cruise Beverage Policy?

Viking includes beer, wine and soft drinks at lunch and dinner with the option to purchase the Silver Spirits package at $27.00 per person per day. You can also take your own beverages onboard and there is no corkage.

Does Viking cater for special dietary needs?

Yes, Viking cater for special dietary requirements. Please let your consultant know at least 30 days from the sailing date so the ship can be advised.

Does Viking have a loyalty program?

Yes, the Viking Explorer Society. You will receive a travel credit according to the amount of time that has elapsed since your last cruise.
