When Viking extended their tour offering to ocean cruising they asked their clients what they thought about ocean cruising. They took their client feedback on board, literally. The Viking Fleet is made up of six state of the art sister ships.

Choose from the Explorer Suites or one of the five categories of stateroom . The Explorer suites are in premium locations on the ship, with wraparound verandas for maximum views. These beautifully appointed two-room suites are the ship’s best. All other suites on board are veranda state rooms. When you book your Viking ocean cruise you choose from five categories of spacious rooms, all with king-size beds, large showers, LCD TVs and private verandas.
Viking offers a range of dining options. Choose from casual cafes and poolside grills to wine pairing menus and regional specialties in fine dining restaurants. With more more Al Fresco Dining than on any other ship, you can dine al fresco surrounded by views in the Aquavit Terrace, World Café or The Restaurant.
The World Café offers multiple choices await you from sushi to western classics and more – all in a casual atmosphere. The Restaurant, the main dining venue, features a daily changing menu including regional specialities made with fresh, local ingredients. Open windows provide an al fresco dining opportunity
To extend your dining options further, choose from alternative dining experiences at Manfredi’s Italian Restaurant, The Chef’s Table, two private dining rooms or The Kitchen Table. For a casual deli and lighter fare from early morning to late in the night try Mamsen’s.
When it comes to relaxing Viking have thought about the needs of their passengers. The Explorer’s Lounge is wrapped with two storey panoramic windows for maximum viewing out to see and into the sky. Its the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. Take in a intimate music performance or simply relax and mingle in the 3-Deck Atrium . Enjoy quiet moments on the well curates Library or learn about the Viking’s rich history and inspiring legacy at the special onboard exhibit. With its retractable dome, the main pool is the perfect, any-season swim. At night, you can catch a movie on the giant poolside screen. With your fitness and walking pleasure the full 360 degree Promenade Deck is the perfect place for walking or jogging on our 400 metre continuous loop track. To keep your gym routine going head up to the Sports deck and fitness centre, perfect for staying in shape while at sea. For the ultimate healthy Scandinavian spa experience, head to the sauna and Snow Grotto or enjoy a relaxing massage in The Spa.
Enjoy an after hours drink or dancing to a live band in Torshavn, the ships' piano bar. Take in a live show in the Main theatre or watch a film or enjoy a lecture in one of the two movie theatres – the perfect venues for lectures or to watch films.
The Viking fleet is made up of six sister ships. These are Viking Star, Viking Sea, Viking Sun, Viking Orion, Viking Sky and Viking Jupiter. The ships are of the small ship class, with dimensions of 745 feet in length and the beam ,94.5 feet. Each ship carries just 930 guests.
