Our tour director BEVERLY was absolutely AMAZING. The excursions, transfers & coordination within the group was OUTSTANDING. Our only reservation was the poor selection of hotel in Athens: the Crown Plaza was tired & more of a business hotel rather than leisure accommodation - and would not recommend. The hotel in Mykonos was LOVELY. The hotel in Santorini read more could have been better in terms of the room - they were not private enough with guests walking past the outside of the room. We should of had a second floor room with terrace - the overall room was sparse with only a bar of soap.

Our trip was really enjoyable. We visited all the places on our bucketlist like Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Niagra Falls and we were not disappointed. Our Globus tour included many visits as well as lunches and dinners, which meant we didn't have to hunt around very often for restaurants. The included meals were very good as well.
Our read more tour guide was excellent. She was informative but entertaining as well, which made the experience really good fun. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

The tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Vaseliiki was fabulous. Very well organized. Excursions were wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the beaches.

Our daily coach ride with Tina was smooth and the bus was always spotless! There were appropriately timed stops for stretching, viewing and bathroom breaks although there was a bathroom on the coach! Wade was so good at pointing out animals and points of interest. He was very knowledgeable about the adventure and history of Alaska! When questions were read more asked he repeated them small could hear.! On the rare occasion he wasn’t confident in his response he clarified or had the answer later in the day or the next morning. The days were rather long but not at all stressfull.

Excellent 15 day tour with a super Tour Director and Experienced Driver. Booking the tour online was easy and well managed by our Global Journeys Travel Consultant. The itinerary was par excellence and the places visited (Grant Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Zion Park, Yellow Stone, Bryce Canyon to name a few) was just breathtaking. Would recommend this tour with no hesitation.

Great tour with majestic scenery. Days filled with sightseeing. Saw lots of wildlife, Elk, deer, bighorn sheep, and a Black Bear as well. Amazing tour director and bus driver. Accommodations were ok considering limited availability in some of the places. I think the breakfasts were not up to par and not comparable to what you get when traveling in Europe.
Overall I felt this tour ticked all the boxes in what a “Taste of Spain” set out to accomplish. It was fast paced and covered a lot of ground, it hit most major landmarks or tourist spots and the format in which it was delivered was great, by this I mean having a tour director onboard and then local tour guides at each city was an efficient way to mix read more things up and give continuity to our tour. As I said overall I’d give it a 10/10.
The hotels were very good for the most part, the rooms were clean and ready for our arrivals, the amenities worked well there were no issues, the staff was courteous and helpful though the food at some of the hotels could’ve been improved.
The location for them was also very favourable. Overall I give the hotels an 9/10.
The included tours were mostly very good also, it largely came down to the tour guide that we had on the day and the manner in which they delivered their explanations. The explanations were good and I’d give them a 10/10 in content
In terms of the way in which the tour guides delivered the content it changed from place to place but overall I’d say a 7/10 with three (3) guides being the sole contributors to the score (the reason why the local tour guide score was impacted was due to the experience we had with foreigners who managed our tours. A Ukrainian lady in Barcelona. An Australian guy in Valencia and and American guy in Seville, they were agreed by all on tour to be the downside of the tour guides, all were really not good at all and everyone we spoke with agreed that Globus should stick to true locals instead)
In terms of paid experiences I would rate these at 10/10, I appreciate many of these locations require tickets in advance so it’s imperative decisions are made in advance, I would only suggest that a more comprehensive explanation is given to help inform the decision making process as some seem a bit vague and one might hesitate to book on these grounds. I also strongly think you should re-incorporate the Montserrat Monastery visit into your tour. Many guests agreed this is a much better choice than the cava experience.
Travel experience was a highlight also, the ability to rotate seats was excellent and the travel always felt safe and comfortable. JuanJo (our bus driver) was amazing, always friendly, safe and dedicated, we really would like to praise him on his service 10/10.
Our tour director was absolutely fantastic also - Kaye Maxwell - her enthusiasm, charisma, charm and all round awesome personality really made our trip one to cherish, no matter the situation she handled it like an absolute pro and nothing was too much or a bother - though we think some high maintenance guests may have tested her patience at times - Kaye always had the right answer, pivoted with ease even in light of things beyond our control (like the Granada earthquake!) and made sure we were always looked after and the show went on with a smile on everyone’s face. Kaye’s way of handling everything with seeming ease is a true testament to her years of experience and professionalism in all aspects of her life and work. Kaye is an absolute champ.
Back to Australia we really enjoyed the Global Journeys booking experience. Hannah was easy to deal with and helpful, quick to clarify aspects of the tour with Globus and quick to relay that clarification back to us, her emails were clear and approachable and despite us having our first tour experience and asking many questions we never felt we annoyed her and was very professional in her dealings with us. Overall I would genuinely look to book another tour with Global Journeys and Globus most likely too.

We cannot say enough, good about global journeys! Our tour guide Olvind, and driver”Magic” were totally awesome. The knowledge and the personal stories that were shared in the tight corners and hairpin turns that were made! Just very thankful we were in the hands of these two great guys. We had beautiful weather, which I understand is not always happening, read more which also helped of course. But they made the trip just just lovely. This was our trip we had on our bucket list for many years and we’re fortunate enough to be able to do it. So thankful we were able to hook up with your tour of Norway.

Our trip from mid June to mid July was a great period to travel with perfect weather and fascinating sights and locations. Our tour guide Dan was outstanding with his knowledge of history and geography and a great personality. Our coach driver Paul was exceptional, handling narrow countryside roads with care and skill. Accommodation and food included read more were excellent and the extra excursions were a bonus. Thanks to Grace for helping us book the holiday. Highly recommend.
This was my first Globus journey and I feel that we were so lucky! First of all Luis our tour director was so fun and had so much knowledge to share with us. That was a great personality combo! Second our bus driver, Joel was a master behind the wheel!! Third we had a small group of 29 who ranged in age from 10 to 81 … who I now call my friends. I read more can’t wait to make another reservation. And PS…I was one of the 81 year olds!

We have just completed the 17 day Portugal, Spain and Morocco tour with tour director Miguel (Portuguese). What a fantastic tour. All local tour guides were special, however the the local guide of Morocco (for 6 days) was 'Moh' and he had extensive knowledge but was intense in his sales pitch for each stop, his disrespect when an incident occurred with read more an elderly female passenger (fell whilst utilising the bathrooms), his ongoing repeated sales advertisements (inappropriate). Also the accommodation of the 'Imperial Hotel' at Rabat was definitely below forecast ratings and was actually uncomfortable. In all the tour director was amazing and kept everyone entertained, great humour, honesty, compassion and engaging throughout the 17 days. I would have given this tour '5 stars' except for the local Moroccan tour guide. The sights are amazing and I would recommend this tour.

If you don't mind early morning starts...this is the tour for you! Globus never disappoint with engaging and insightful tour directors, and skilled personal coach drivers! This tour was no exception. The included dinners and excursions were always a good experience. For travellers who yearn for the last frontier, this is the tour for you!!

Excellent tour! We saw so many remarkable, awe-inspiring sites which I had never seen and learned so much about history, nature, zoology and geology. The tour gave me an increased appreciation of the wonders in our country. Our guide Daphne was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Our driver Anson was great too. It was amazing how he could navigate read more some of these tight mountain passes! I was the only solo traveler in our group, and the group made me feel welcome. There were hotel changes every night except one although that was expected in terms of the distance we covered. I am so glad and grateful that I took this trip! Ethan at Global Journeys was always prompt and polite too.

Holm not only showed us the scenic wonders of Iceland but told us stories of the heart of the people who live there. Great trip with spectacular scenery.
We truly enjoyed this tour. Ricardo was exceptional: the best tour guide we have experienced. Good accomodation: helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. Great sites visited. Advice: an educational security video to warn everyone about pick pocketing. Only thing we didn’t enjoy were the coach seats (uncomfortable).
When there was optional excursions and we chose not to go. The tour director should recommend other things we could see or explore. The excursions and shopping are pushed much more than explaining what else might be available. By the time we found out at each stop there wasn’t enough time left to do anything. The guide Lucy was very helpful with a problem read more I had and she went above and beyond her job to help.
The guide was excellent - informative and congenial. Top marks. The tour enabled us to see so many beautiful parts of Portugal with short bus rides. It was a wonderful tour in great company.
Wow, Globus was excellent in every way. Fabulous travel director and amazing coach driver. Most excursions were included with a total of 3 optional (paid) excursions offered over the 14 day tour. Sicily and Malta are absolute gems and the places and experiences we had were superb. The travel director was knowledgeable, professional and friendly, engaging read more warmly with the guests. Tracey at Global Journeys is always professional and does an amazing job in responding promptly with information, and always offers her assistance. Thank you Tracey!

The trip was organised excellently, starting in Washington DC, visiting Mount Vernon, then Williamsburg, Richmond , Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the battlefield at Gettysburg, Valley Forge National Park and ending in Philadelphia. The tour guide, Patrick Neilson, was excellent. He was inclusive with all passengers, thoughtful read more and caring, a mine of information and both pleasant and amusing at all times. The bus was in perfect condition and Michael, the driver, was highly skilled in his job, coupled with a pleasing, polite and friendly manner. The accommodation at each stop was first class, with very good service. We have learnt a lot of American history on this trip, particularly the Revolution and colonial times, but also about the historic Civil War battlefield at Gettysburg. The trip was excellent and is highly recommended by us.
