Mediterranean Cruise   0 , ACT, Australia, Dec 2024
We had a wonderful 7 nights with MSC and couldn’t fault them, Widi our cabin attendant was amazing and looked after us extremely well. Dinner with Nule was also a pleasure. Hannah Campbell organised everything for us and was great. We would recommend Global Journeys and MSC cruises to friends and family
An Unforgettable First Cruise Experience with MSC!     3 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2024
It was our first time cruising, and we honestly didn’t know what to expect. But MSC exceeded every expectation we had. From the exceptional service to the incredible variety of food and entertainment, everything was perfect. The ports we visited were beautiful, and each day felt like a new adventure. We stayed in a balcony suite on Deck 14, and the ...read more mornings and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. Thank you, MSC, for an unforgettable experience - we can’t wait to cruise with you again!
Mediterannean Cruise   0 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2024
A great cruise on the MSC Seaview, the ship was full, my cabin was upgraded from a Balcony Cabin to a Suite, but it was at the end of the corridor at the front of the ship, with half of the balcony view covered by metal due to the ships design and the normal glass section to look out was all metal, so pointless to sit on the balcony because you couldn't ...read more see anything.

The ship itself was lovely, and despite having over 5,000 passengers, didn't feel crowded. I had meals in the dining room and the food was delicious and very well presented. They had lots for kids, zip-line, water slide, water play area, ten pin bowling and games room. Plenty of pools to sit around on the one day we had sailing.

The cruise started and finished in Rome we visited Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Canne, Genoa and La Specia. All beautiful cities, the day trips that I booked through MSC were well run, informative and the costs not excessive. I liked the way you could pay cash into your onboard account, so not to have the added credit card charges. The staff were excellent and friendly and the cabins serviced daily, with towels changed whenever required. Would definitely cruise again with MSC.
Our MSC cruise was great!     1 , SA, Australia, Jul 2024
Overall the service was excellent and staff on the cruise were friendly and helpful. Food service not too bad, entertainment was great and we loved the way we got dropped off at each port to explore different cities and countries. My favorite part of each day was watching sunset on the deck until the sun went down and then sitting in the lounge, sipping ...read more cocktails and listening to music every evening. ❤️ Thank you for all your help to make our holiday special and memorable.
A great cruise through the Mediterranean   1 , VIC, Australia, Jun 2024
Embarking in Genoa was a hassle free process! We were processed and in our room on the ship in under an hour. So different from embarking on a cruise in Venice! This cruise was fantastic. The places we stopped at were all new to us and it added to the experience. We booked a combination of excursions some with MSC and some privately. The choice of food ...read more on board was very good, including a standalone Gluten Free menu. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The only negative was a cancellation of our shore excursion in Sardinia that I had booked well in advance as I knew it would book out. Apparently due to weather!! It ended up being a 30deg day and our Plan B day turned out to be great but I was disappointed the excursion was cancelled the night before with little time to reschedule. Can't control the weather! That is the worst thing that happened on a very relaxing cruise. The whole process of booking and following up with Georgie from Global Journeys was so easy! This is cruise number 2. Thank you.
World Europa   4 , VIC, Australia, Apr 2024
We felt that Global Journeys was simply a booking agent, who passed on little knowledge of the cruise/ship we had selected. This might seem unfair, but I think a travel agent could offer a bit more information. Anyway, this is what we learnt about the cruise on World Europa, which your operators might take on board.

1. We didn't know that we could ...read more have arranged a shuttle pickup at the airport to the ship. We would have preferred this to trying to find a taxi and explaining our destination.
2. The cruise package included 4 complimentary restaurants, which we assumed we could choose as we like. But what we didn't know is that we were allocated a dedicated table to a specific restaurant each night for dinner.
3. To provide something different we asked to move restaurants, which was allowed, but then discovered that each complimentary restaurant had exactly the same menu each night, although it changed daily.
4. The quality of the food at the complimentary restaurants was only fair and on one night poor. In the end we upgraded to some of the speciality restaurants to provide something different and better. This was a much better option.
5. For us, the ship was too big and it took at least 4 days to be confident about where you were going and where our cabin was.
6. In light of the ship being too big, there were simply too many people (6,500 guests and 2,500 staff) and most areas were crowded from early morning. Booking a show or a speciality restaurant had to be done very early else they were full.
7. The breakfast buffet was pretty unpleasant with people jostling all over the place. But, in the end we found an alternative menu driven, table service breakfast venue, which was much nicer.
8. The cabin (1408) was very good. Spacious with most facilities we needed.
9. Cabin housekeeping was excellent. In fact all the ship staff were extremely helpful.
10. Ship logistics in coordinating dining; excursions; theatre shows etc was also excellent. Anyone not phone literate would be completely lost as everything was phone based, even the dining menus.
11. The ships wifi was excellent, but in hindsight we should have upgraded our internet package to include more than 1 device.
12. The excursions (we did one at every port) were pretty good offering a good tase of the cities we visited.

The ship itself was mind blowing, with multiple choices for shops; fast food; adult entertainment; kids entertainment and swimming pools. We would recommend the “back of ship tour” as this provided a real insight into how a ship of this size operates. Finally, whilst we might choose MSC again, it certainly would not be on the World Europa.
Large ship     4 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2023
Was hesitant about being on a ship as large as the MSC Euribia, but chose the cruise for the itinerary. The ship is beautiful, our cabin 10130 was a good size and everything was kept clean, but there were too many people for our liking. Also there is not enough seating in the bar/lounge areas (especially sea days). Also appeared not to be enough wait ...read more staff in those areas as it was hard to place a drinks order and then a long wait to receive them! Food served in the Colorado restaurant for dinner was excellent and the table waiters were very good. Remembered our preferences for drinks and also the butter for the bread rolls!

Unfortunately due to a storm in the English Channel we had to miss the port of Le Havre. Was expecting a refund of the port charges but not to be. Other cruise lines refund but not MSC apparently. This was our 1st MSC cruise and probably our last - prefer other cruise lines such as Princess or Holland America. There were a large number of children on board which we hadn’t anticipated (didn’t realise it was end of school break in England). Plenty of activities on board for children and would probably be a good holiday for families. Embarkation and disembarkation were handled well and did not take long. As we did our own thing in each port, rather than a ship excursion, the provision of shuttle buses into the city centres were a great help. As usual Tracey and the team at Global Journeys were great with all aspects of our booking. Will happily use again for future trips.
